You should see the perfectly good bikes hanging from the ceiling in the Quaker Steak that's beside the Harley dealer in Greenville. Makes me wince every time I go in there.
I've been told by the management at Quaker State that all of the bikes in there are for sale. So, if you want one, tell'em to just pull it down for you!
Vic, if you head this way, IM me, I'll meet you up there. Maybe, Elizabeth will be working. That will be a real treat.
Yeah Gary. The vibes were a worn front tire which had a small chuck of rubber missing. Looked about the size of a pencil eraser and was almost perfectly round. Didn't go through to the tube but close enough. The tread was worn w/15k miles and I knew it was close to changing time. The surging and high idle was water got into the pcIII connector. Bike runs great now. Picked it up friday. Rode to the Smokeout in Rockingham on saturday. Raced Sniper77 down the dragstrip a few times (and by the eta..I won 2 out of 3). So, yeah I guess it's running good lol
My time in Blythewood is coming to a close. I should start workng from home in the next week or two. Would be nice to get together before that happens because then it becomes a 3+hr ride to your neck of the woods. Not that I mind a long ride...it's usually the long ride home that stinks.

Weather is supposed to be great for the rest of the week and my schedule is pretty much clear, so name the time and the place and we'll meet up. Has to be afternoon to early evening for me, however.

I may very well do that. Gotta run home, grab my bike and change into something a little less "computer nerdish" and I'm out.
Folks...anyone in the upstate area that might be interested, I'm heading to Quaker Steak for bike night from Columbia (Winnsboro). I plan to leave at 5pm (15min from now) and have a +/- 2hr ride ahead of me.
