As far as sitting on the front fender, is that,"getting off on your bike" lol
dude
the lift id for maintenance repair ... the picture is for selling their lift... as in lok at what this lift can take... so they sucker people out of paying too much for their lift when 89 bucks at sears will do the job 1000 times over. it's the american way... sucker the masses into believing they need more than they do for simple ridiculous profit.....

or you can look at it as a safety approach instead of being a dumba$$...the j&s jack is alot more safer,i have had mine for over a year and have had many bikes on it without a mishap.......they are just showin you how sturdy the bike is on their product......

Hey Rounder what's up man? You have a bad week? I have seen 3 threads that you have been on and they are all downer replies. It looks like you have a lot of nice work on your bike yet in one thread you called Harleys crap and here you probably already know from others' replies that there are issues with the Sears one (from having to ride up on blocks to get the jack under it to using adapters etc. So sometimes it is a matter of paying for a little peace of mind; after your bike falls off when you remove the front tire, would you have thought the same about spending a couple extra hundred for the right jack rather then the several it will take to repair the damage? Just asking.

FWIW, their marketing has sold me on getting one of their jacks...no tie downs needed, no Dyna adapters and a simple one man operation raising and lowering the bike without any drama.

I'm gonna save my nickles and dimes to get up enought $$$ for one.

Just my .02 of course.

check, I was looking at the pit bull, but can't see that much of a difference (besides 24" lift height and 18") for the extra $$$. So will probably go with the JS instead.

Don't know anyone that would want to, but I think they were trying to show the stability of the bike on the jack even without tie downs.

actually I was having fun posting and being sarcastic... My true feelings are that the Jack is a great piece of equipment... I have times where I like to see what others might say to something. And man was I drunk LAST NIGHT!
