Shocks preload question

Default Shocks preload question
Will lowering the preload amount on my shocks actually lower the bike at all?

I've sat on several stock Bobs and my feet reach the ground flatfooted easily. On my bike, it's a bit of a strain. The previous owner set it up for 2-up riding (which I never do) so I'm thinking the bike is raised.

maybe a couple of millimeters... not much though. I would think the height difference may be more in your seat vs the other bikes seats.
