Inner primary leak!!!!!!! help
I have a 95 wide glide. The inner primary is leaking transmission shaft going into the primary. I have replace those seals twice and the third time i pulled it off those seals looked fine. I am wondering if it is a bearing problem in the primary cover that is letting the trany shaft bounce around. I am lost and if anybody has had this problem or any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Please Help
sounds like the shifter shaft seal man... pretty common for them to go bad... if you look up the back of your primary you should be able to see it leaking from there if it is

i had a primary leak as well when i had forward controls on my FXDB. the O-ring seal that mates the inner and outer primary case togehter where the shifter was supose to come through with the mid controls on it sliped down when being re-assembled after installing forward controls caused a pretty nasty leak. seal was like a dollar and a little time to replace it. hope that helps
