I had some weird issues with my motor not wanting to line up with the frame too. What I wound up doing was jacking my rear wheel up off of the ground by the frame thus isolating the motor/swing arm/wheel from contact with the ground. I then removed the 2 front motor mount bolts and started the motor for a few seconds. The rubber mount settled into the right spot and then I very carefully reinstalled the motor mount bolts. Bike tracks perfect now.

Worth a shot, but I totally agree with you the rubber mount system on these machines stock is disappointingly bad. A true track type system should be on these bikes off of the factory floor.

Hey Rook, I was talking to my brother about my bike and he mentioned yours. He said when we went ripping down an entrance ramp, he said yours looked like it was fish tailing. He said the back end of your bike looked like it was all over the place! Kinda like it was just shaking back and fourth.

Last night, with my wifes help. I was able to take some measurements on the bike. Here is what I found.

Distance between fender and tire
Right side 1/2"
Left side 3/4"

Straight line from rear tire towards front. Measurements taken from tire to straight edge

Right side front 1 3/8"
Right side rear 1 3/8"

Left side front 1"
Left side rear 1"

Acording to these measurements and according to holding a straight edge against the rear tire and up to where the two frame tubes come down under the bike, the rear tire is parallel with the bike, The whole engine, trans, swingarm, and tire are shifted over to the right side aprox 1/4".

The only thing I can think of to remedy this problem is to buy a True Track or Sputhe stabilizer system. The rubber mounts seem to be fine, they dont sag and are still pretty damn stiff.

With a stabilizer system I would be able to pull the whole drivetrain over 1/4" and get everything aligned perfect. I would of course have to make sure the engine is plumb after all this by adjusting the top mount as well.

Have to save up my $$ One of the two will be on its way shortly.

No mention has been made, is the wheel centered in the swingarm? Is the swingarm centered in the transmission (or however it's mounted - I haven't gotten that deep into my bike yet)?

Yep, tire is straight in the swing arm. I believe the swing arm is bearing mounted in the transmission so that would be a pretty rigid connection.

It might be a week or so before I buy the stabilizers. Then another week or two before they get on the bike if ya know what I mean.
