gotta be something wrong with your web browser There superfast!! Anyhoo we had this discussion the other day. No I don't think it fits the softails and touring have the 96 b engine and the air cleaner mounting points are a little different.
When I bought my arlen ness BS I grabbed the first box on sale at my local HDealer. Got home and aaaagghhhh! had to go back and get the one for dynas!
i actually expected to see a picture of the vortex air cleaner like used on the side of the cab of a peterbuilt, and for that you'd have to use adapter #14391-07, a harley adapter of course.
Any info on how difficult it would be to modify the air cleaner so that it will fit the 96? If it is just the mounting points, couldn't it be drilled to fit? Or am I just looking for trouble pursuing this?
Mounting Points on the head are the same A or B .... It's the throttle Body size & Bolt pattern that's different 54mm on touring.. That A/C comes Stock on the 110 CVO touring Models. Looks like a Old Sporster A/C to me..Way over priced ..
