Tire (ply) seperation?
Is there anyway you can get the as* end up in the air (via floor jack) and roll the tire around in neutral?
You could also check for loose components as recommended above @ that point.

checked everything looks good and tight waiting for wife to get up so we can take it to the dealer put it in the shop i forgot to add had a man help put it in a trailer and didnt check his side of the tie downs yep bike fell over and put a dent in the tank always check both sides if you dont do them yourself!

 

O well that really sucks she will be pissed for sure man! get her some flowers and put on a sheepish grin!

 

Did you check it and feel it, too? Not to doubt your wife, but it's nice to get a second opinion

well got back from the dealer wheelbearing went out ! get this they were going to replace it on a sunday but as luck would have it the wheel had been damage also so she gets to wait a week for the new wheel and bearing also a new tank is around 900.00 sure was a high cost ride yesterday

Did they mention how an 09 eats a wheel bearing so fast?

 

i asked them about the time and they didnt know either said that they havent had any trouble out of them i am glad it happen here we just took the bikes to los vegas to get married, been bad if it happen 50 miles from no where
