Yee Haw & Hot Damn!!
I think I'm [almost] done with the mods for this season. After two days of good riding, I spent 5 hours today cleaning and adding the two goodies Santa just brought; the SE Heavy Breather & the Console Extension. Also pictured is the new chrome IP Case from the bearing repair. Here's the current state of things...
Left to do: Chrome front caliper (in the mail), switch housings, and master cyl. Then I'll be done...no, really!
lookin good man, hope your back is goin through withdrawls from the "backrest(s)" being gone.
bytheway what is this "DONE" you speak of? never heard of it LOL

Rat;
That's why it took 5 hours of cleaning this time. A guy's got to keep his priorities straight (among other things). Lemme know some time and we'll do the Chinook Pass ride and lunch at Whistlin' Jack's.
one guy mentioned something about strapping it to your jack. he doesn't know that you got the super jack from ronco that has magnetic rails. great looking work. nice inner primary, next on my list now after seein yours.

HD sent the shop the black IPCase, since they were covering the repairs. I asked if I could pay extra and get the chrome. Shop said they'd order it separately, install it, then send the black one back for credit (less 15% restocking fee). I knew the chrome IPCase was $300, so I figured I'd have to kick in about $50. Turns out the black case is $400!! Go figg'r. So when they send it back, they'll be money ahead on the deal, I paid nothing to get the chrome case, and everyone's happy.
The PitBull is very stable. I s'pose I SHOULD make it a habit to strap it, but unless you're doing some severe wrenching, there seems to be no real need. I find it's a major asset when doing a thorough wash & clean. Also was a lot more comfortable changing out the Football sitting on my roller-stool and working at chest-level rather than kneeling, sitting or squatting...easy to see stuff, too.
