Man I hear this way to often. Glad your OK. +1 for keeping an eye on the insurance company - don't settle unless you are satisfied. Call them everyday if you have to - and get names and id numbers of the rep/agent that spoke with you. They hate giving back what they make a living on taking.
Good news the 2010's are due in a few weeks.

I think that the insurance lady is getting tired of hearing from me but next time that I talk to her I will get her ID number. A 2010 would be nice but not sure what is going to happen until this is all settled.
Well everyone, it was official today, she is gone. Tuesday after noon on my way home from work I had an old lady make a left hand turn about 10 to 15 feet in front of me while I was in the middle of the intersection. Got the bike to the dealer and it was determined that it was going to be about 11 grand to fix, and I only owe about 10. Have never dealt with this so any advise would be help full. here is the link for the pics and the story. Anyway I'm not how soon I'll be back out on the road, but right now I'm just thankfull that I was able to hobble away from this one.
Glad you are OK, sorry about the bike. I am suppose to wear one of those bright *** vest myself (at least when the friendly folks at the gate make me put it on) and I swear to god I get cut off more often while wearing than I do in my black jacket. No idea why, but I do not think it helps one bit. It amazes me how many entrances/exits from military bases are so dangerous, especially around 4pm . Good luck with the insurance, do not let them screw you.
I know it has been said, but I am sure glad you are ok. By the look of your bike and the car, it could have been much worse. Take your time and make sure you are ok and hope to see that you are back on your bike soon.

sorry to hear about what happened man...the most important thing is that your ok..remember as far as insurance goes..the squeeky wheel...good luck and hope you get back riding soon
