Im new around here and need some advice.....I just bought a 2009 Street Bob while I was on vacation in Wildwood NJ. Best vacation souveniere I ever bought!! I have always wanted a HD and could finally afford one.
Wildwood HD was a great place to buy a bike.....my friend bought a new Night Train too.
I want to get some slip on mufflers.....I heard the Cycle Shack mufflers on a youtube vid and they have the sound im looking for. Im a little confused by their website as they only show Dyna mufflers up to 2007....I want to get the slash cut mufflers with the removable baffles.....does anyone know the correct part number or have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
they will fit just fine. just slide em on and off you go. just be patient pulling the old ones off, wiggle em side to side and up and down and they will come out with time. i also recommend new clamps. i got mine from jireh cycles,, they were only 104.00 at the time. if you call em they will tell you for sure if they will fit. im 99.9999 % sure they will. just a warning jirehs site is kinda crappy but the prices and service is great. so find the cycle shack part # and call em they will cross reference it for you to thier part #s. hope this helps
Cut the baffles in half and use the back half...use one 1/8 steel rivet under each clamp. (The mufflers are bolted together but not to the bike frame.)

I also suggest replacing the clamps!! Some are able to get away with not replacing them but I didnt and mine fell off.
Thanks for all of the replies and the help. Im going to order the mufflers and clamps from Jirehcycles.
I was out riding all day...great bike!...the bike has alot of power, but its so quiet due to the factory mufflers.....Im used to open drags. Cant wait to get some rumble!
