I went to Americade 96,97,98,99. I love it but then again, I drank a heck of a lot more than I do now. My last time, I passed out on a bench and when I woke up I was staring at the lake. I think that bench was on lake street. Ha ha.

I'll be there in spirit. Have a cold one at Duffy's for me.

Wow.. that bike in post #6 is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick. Whoever built that scoot did an amazing job!! Looks like it was a lot of fun. Where is Americade at? I've never heard of it..

Adrian, it's located in Lake George, NY (upstate, north of Albany). It started as a Goldwing rally but over time it's opened up to everyone. It's a good time the last I was there.

I went there last Thursday and then again Saturday. A lot of bikes! I live about 45 minutes north of Lake George and there were bikes all over my home town. To think people are trying to stop this rally, man it brings in some money to the area, not just Lake George but areas surrounding it too. It is a lot of fun at the Americade. Its a sign, for me, that summer/riding season is here.
