I found a set on ebay for a decent price. They look to be the same as the FXDWG strut covers. Can someone confirm?
Chrome strut covers are usually close to $200 each. Read: not the for the pair.
I nicked mine up pretty good a while back and it's driving me nuts. My problem is I try to work too fast because my time is very limited with a baby in the house.
I just checked the parts book for '08 and the FXDF and FXDWG-ANIV strut covers are different part numbers. I didn't see a part number for a straight-up FXDWG. Sorry dude!
Vic paint them white to match your tins. Be different man. Put that coin to better use. Use that coin to install your cams.
Well, I nicked up the strut covers. Let me rephrase. There are now 1 or 2 burrs in a few spots. I don't mind the paint idea. Actually never thought about it. I'll definitely keep it as an option.

My pinstripe is actually gold. Tough to tell from that pic.

I appreciate the effort Jeff. From the pics the seller had posted they look darn near identical. The fatbob also utilizes a bobtail fender, thats why I thought they might be swappable
