Default PC3 map help

I posted this in the tuner section also, but figured I would try here too.

I have a 04 Dyna FXDI, currently with a PC3 USB, Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake and Screamin' Eagle 2 slip-ons. I have been using a downloaded map from Power Commander so far and its been working out ok for me.

I am looking at getting a set of Rinehart 2-1 pipes and I am trying to come up with the best map to use. Power Commander tech said use the Thunderheader 2-1 map, as they dont have one for the Rinehart 2-1. I just wanted to make sure someone else didnt have a better map to use.

Thanks in advance.

Well I am close but no cigar my good man. I have AN BS / bub7 2 into1,(the makers of reinhart exhaust),but my tuner is a pcV-sorry. The map fuelmoto sent me works almost perfect. Just a little unburnt fuel if I really twist it in 2nd and only when I let go the gas to shift, and they say they can help me tweak it over the phone! now all I need is a laptop--> I don't like bringing my computer outdoors!

I have the filter that came with the AN Big Sucker intake, I believe it is a K&N.

Bone stock engine otherwise.

i think you're going to be pretty close.
my 2005 had the same setup as you - seII slipons, SE air cleaner.

changed the slips for bub 2-2. I'm running a pretty generic "Bub Rineharts" map with no issues. Pumped up the fuel volume a bit at the low throttle positions to eliminate some decel pop. did not dyno as I found that to be a huge waste of money with the seII setup.

the Powercommander guys are pretty good with trying to help and answering questions. if you have issues with decel popping after install - they will try to fix it for you.

Why not try the V&H's Pro Pipe download from www.powercommander.com
Stock ECM M810-003
Stage 1 ECM M810-002

Hope these might help. I would think this might be better.

ya - i thought about the pro pipe as well - but if the powercommander guys already suggested the thunderheader - then it's probably closer. no harm in trying both.

Thanks guys! I'll probably try them both for a week or so and see which one is better.

Default Pc3

I have an 07 Bob with the Rinehart 2-1 and Arlen Ness Big Sucker with the PC3. I had mine dynotuned though. I could probably hook up the laptop and get my map and give it to you. I haven't done that before, but I am computer friendly so it shouldn't be a problem. Couldn't do it until Sunday though. Let me know if you want to try that route.

Thanks for the offer, but I believe that the maps are different between our bikes, as I have a 2004.
