Default Brake Pads?

Well its getting close to time to do some pads on the bike and I was wondering what others maybe using other than factory. I found some pads on Ebay but I tend to be wary of cheap pads, from past experience with cars. However I dont want to spend a fortune either. Any input would be welcome.
Thanks

+1 on the Lyndall Gold pads. I just changed mine front and back to them. Very happy with the performance.

I've been using EBC Kevlars for the past 60k miles. They are 19 bucks a pair from Jireh Cycles.

I went with the Lyndall Z plus pads. They have the same tactile feel as stock, but do a much better job of stopping the bike. The Gold stops better, but has a bit harder feel to them.

The best part is, you wont have to clean all that black crap off your wheels anymore, so you can always go around town looking cool. And thats what its all about.

I'm on my second set of Lyndall Golds and have loved every mile.

Great company to deal with. MotorcycleMetal is a forum sponsor here and sells them. Or you can go directly to LyndallRacingBrakes.com

I've never heard of 'Lyndall gold pads' but I think I want to try some. Where can I get them?

A friend of mine got his pads and a rear rotor (a fancy after market) off ebay. After only 15,000 mile his rotor is trash! Deep grooves on the back side.

Your brakes are no place to take the cheap route. Spend the money that your safety is worth.
