I didn't care for the teardrop AC on my :08 FXDC so I used a big sucker and cover but used the "ring' from the old cover.

I had the same idea but used my stock "ring" on the HD smooth round a/c cover.

here is one I machined up the other day at work when it was a bit quiet. Now I gotta make some matching bits, horn cover, horn is relocated under battery, clutch cover and maybe battery band but that could be too much, ill make it and see how it looks...
