Hi all
anyone else with a blacked out bob get alot of attention everywhere you go...It seems like people in my area are all amazed at my bob, from young to old....i have to admit it is flattering...
J
same ere,
my bikes lost in a sea of chrome on a club ride out. will stay that way too.
most riders just look in the p & a for their next bolt on. they wont tear into their
newish bikes to make them different from the rest.
Ha, here in south Florida, the only blacked out bikes I see are nightsters and night rod specials, and those are even a rarity here. EVERYOOOOOOOONE has all chrome and doodah's on there bikes. Its nice to be different. I get a significant amount of attention, but mostly due to the pinstriping that was done on my bike. But my ride most certainly stands out.
I get kinda annoyed how everyone says blacking out a bike is being over done and how everyone has a blacked out bike now days.. but where?! LOL cause I sure don't see them here.
Nope, not a lot of blacked out bikes here, though I have seen a few nice cuctom blacked out bikes. So while not overly original on this forum, they sure seem to be in the general public.
I get asked pretty much every time I stop for gas what kind of bike that is and does it come like that etc. Yeah, I think people like the look even when they don't know anything about motorcycles.
On the boards here it seems like blacked out bobs are a dime a dozen but in my town there is barely any blacked out bikes... and most our my buddies. They get a lot of attention here too.... people like that look, cause it looks good....
But I do wish I had a dollar for everytime someone told me I had a nice night train.... I've got HD Street Slammer bars on it.... so I can kinda see... not really though
i would say my bike gets more attention casue it is dark but not blacked out... the use of the other colors i have pwodered my scoot really draws attention... there are all blacked out bieks around herre as well it is the ones that get a bit more creative with their powdercaoting work that get some serious attention
here too. In fact a couple weeks ago I was at a show and shine checking out the bikes; lotsa pretty nice rides - tons of chrome....after a while I headed back up the street to where I parked and there were two guys taking pictures of mine!!!!
