Front end clank?

Front end clank?
When my '09 FXDC goes over a good, solid bump - like railroad tracks - I notice a metallic clank, like two metal plates banging together.
Sounds like it's coming from the front of the bike, possibly the center but more likely the front. Seems to be coming from the left side.
I've jiggled and poked, and I can't find where this noise is coming from. Nothing seems loose.
It's not a small sound, it's a very solid CLANK. I haven't noticed any sort of performance issues.
If it's really a front end issue, all I can think of are the following:
1. Something in the forks.
2. Something involving the brake rotor.
3. Wheel spokes?
Suggestions? I'm about ready to have a dealer look at it, but if it's just a loose bolt or something...I have wrenches.

That link is all about the 06 issue. They replaced the washers since then and its pretty unlikely that his 09 has the same problem. Cant hurt to check it I guess but I wouldnt waste too much time there.

You are probably correct. I am not reading very carefully tonight and did not realize he was talking about an 09'. By the way, this is an 06, 07 and 08 problem according to the latest bulletin I saw.
