There is more to it than just the torque and horsepower numbers. Where is the power band, does it come on low and provide plenty of torque to move a heavy bike that is loaded with two people and bags, or is the power band more in the middle of the usable rpm range and produce a very broad torque curve. At the other end of the spectrum, does it manifest its self on the top end and have big roll on power at 3500 rpm and above? The two into one system generally helps bring on early power and produce big torque down low. When building an engine you have to consider where you want the power band to apply. Then find a package or combination of parts that will deliver the performance in the area that you require. What works best for a bagger may not be ideal for a lighter weight bike that only carries a single rider. It kind of depends on what you ride, how you ride, and the kind of performance that you are looking for. The horsepower and torque figures only tell part of the story.

You guys are putting out about the same numbers. Except the OP did cams. Something doesn’t seem right.

OP didn't say what color his bike was, but I'm guessing it wasn't Black. I'd like to see that dyno sheet also 94TQ is kinda big for a 96ci without cams or headwork.

+1 on that! My #'s with a stage 1 were 76hp & 94tq. That was with sert, big radius 2-2 w/bct baffles, heavy breather and about 2 hrs of dyno time. If it was me, I would have someone else run it on the dyno and see if there is any room for improvement. I can't really see them taking 6hrs to tune it either! A excellent dyno/tuner is the key to getting the most out of a build.

Numbers seem low to me... I have a 88 with pipes and high flow, PCIII and I got 80hp and 85TQ

You would think a 96 with cams and all would do much better!!

Just my 2 cents

What have you done to your bike?

Also, when you get your bike dyno tuned, the tech is supposed to try and smooth the lines out as much as possible.

I had the dealer install Rineharts 2 into 1, SE Stage 1 Breather and SERT. The guy who did the dyno also installed other stuff on my bike that day, one was a new rear brake pedal. On the way home my rear brakes locked up. Ruined my rotor and pads, the dealer towed it back and 3 days later I get my bike back and looking at everybody's numbers I either bought the wrong pipes or went to the wrong and only dealer here in Tucson AZ
