Default Cruise
Installed cruise on my FXD today. Man is that nice on the highway now. At least I can take my right hand of the bar for a little while and give it a rest. Best add on I put on the Dyna yet.

Installed a CruiseMate. replaces the little tensioner in the throttle housing. Was about a half hour to install,comes with everything but the drill bit 21/64ths and a 3/8ths tap.
Take your throttle housing apart. Remove the throttle cable and the return cable install the included line up jig, drill, tap and install. Put housing back together and fine tune.
spent more time adjusting the tension than it took to install. Cost about $70.00 CDN
would have been an even 100 installed. Google CruiseMate for there site includes install instructions so ya can see what your up against.

I would like to install one of the bagger kits on mine. There is a company that adapts them to Softails. I'm sure it could be done on the Dynas.

You mean one of the 'real' cruise controls?

Very cool.

As far as cruise control, couldn;t you adapt the Road King setup? I know the 07s had cruise control. It was very nice on the interstate.
