Default Exhaust Tape

For you guys that wrapped your pipes, what type of tape is that and where can I get it?

My son wants to do some stuff to his bike and I'm going to show him some pics of bikes with the pipes wrapped to see if he'd like to do it to his Sporty. I'm also going to show him Naz's painted engine to see if that appeals to him as well. He's also mentioned painting his bike so maybe this winter we'll do a rattle can job in flat black...

Thanks in advance for your help...

Its exhaust wrap; the last stuff I used was from https://www.deicycle.com/ but you can find it at a ton of places including eBay.

Hey Jake! Just did this on my own Sporty. Just got them on the bike yesterday and will have pix later this week.

A HOT TIP 4 YOU! To prevent the wrapping to fade and get grey paint the wrapped exhaust with heat resistant black paint! And they will stay black longer!

Also, put the roll of wrap in a 5 gallon bucket of water and wrap the pipe with wet wrap. You'll be able to get it much tighter. Be sure and use elbow length rubber gloves as the wrap is fiberglass. Mud has a great write up here on how to do it.

DEI here also, I bought the kit from Summit Racing. Like has been said wear rubber gloves, soak it, and paint it.
