Hopefully this doesn't pi$$ off too many fat bob owners on here. I would like to change out my dual Fat Bob headlight for a single big headlight. I have big plans for this bike. Does anyone have any suggestions what headlight to use? Is it easy to switch out the headlight? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much
I got a Cobra ll Bullet style headlight and for the money you cant beat them. $99 shipped from Easternperformance.
Its a easy install. The stock light is 3 wires (ground, high, low) and most after market lights will just be 2 wires (high and low). They ground to the base so you just disregard the black wire when splicing in the new light.
I used a stock Fat Boy headlight from a 2007 Fat Boy. I got it on eBay for $60. I had to buy a couple of connectors and some heat shrink because of the install method I chose but that's all.

The Fat Boy headlight is probably what your looking for (really big headlight). I have Wide Glide triple clamps on my Low Rider which would be the same spacing as your front end, I'm using a 5 3/4" Deuce headlight with a mount from a Sportster Custom, (photo below and more in the link in my signature).
There's also another Deuce shaped headlight that is larger 6 1/2", which I think came on the earlier Springers and might be a perfect fit (not too small, not too big).
