I got the same one bberck has on my FXDC. Man, I never expected to get so many compliments on a 99 dollar headlight. I get more compliments or questions on my headlight than any other part of the bike. I guess I have at least one thing that doesn't make people just focus in on the pipes. Some people complain that that's the one thing about the big radius pipes is they just stand out too much. Apparently, not so on mine.

that Cobra II is sweet looking, but I'm working toward a new-old school look. i had my local "stealer" give me a quote on the fat boy headlight plus labor and they quoted me $510. they said they could install it while i waited too. is that a bit steep or about right? on a seperate note i see Kuryakyn makes a 7 inch headlight. is that just a light insert if you already have the crome "bucket" or is it the whole shabang?

If you want a brand new one you're going to pay "brand new" from HD.

You could always buy slightly used from someone who swapped out his fat boy headlight for a fat bob light? Just an idea...

I would bet you could save some serious cash.

How bout this auction?

Cheers,

Tom
