What was your solution for your push rod covers? Bike looks great.Hows it run?
Well...it's pretty embarrassing but I had the lower half of the tubes in upside down It runs great except for 2 problems. The first isn't so bad but it bothers me because it shouldn't be like that. With my old stock heads I could only make it to 105 (on a closed track of course ) with a lot of time to get to that speed. With my new SE heads 90 is my top. The second is an old problem that is worse now. When my RPM's get above 4k my plug wires come off. Usually from the coil and dangles from the plug. I've tried crimping, 3 sets of plugs, 2 sets of wires, and 2 different coils. Nothing works. I've also glued the wire boot to the coil. Nothing. FML.
I really like the clean look, the battery cover, and the floor boards. Sweet. Looks like a blast.
Thanks A clean and simple balance of silver and black is the look I'm going for so to hear it from some one else is a real compliment. I'm digging the clean look of your bike too.

LOL - I gotta get the engine powder coated, black shocks upgrade, powdercoat sissy bar and plates, (I've already painted the battery cover black), some signal reloations... I'm sure there's a few more things...

Sliders, shocks, partial coil cover, and partial primary black coated and I'll be a happy camper.
