I never had that problem, I wear boots most of the time, I guess it could be some VHT left on my boots that helps.

When I switched to the forwards I used the same rubber pegs that were with the mids.
My boots have lugged soles and they don't slide at all on the pegs. It works out great!!

That's good sh** Tweakin, LOL! Sure as hell won't slip off with them dogs on there! Pretty cool to with a dirt bike feel. I've got some round knurled black anodized pegs that work very well also...I got em on ebay about 75 bucks a pair, I use em for mid, highways & passenger, I love em! Here's a couple pics of em. Sorry no close ups, but ya get the idea.

I got the HD heel rests after a 1087 mile ride this may. The kit extends your existing pegs out further and gives you room to rest your heels on the heel rest while the front half of your foot rests on the peg. Real comfy and more surface area for your feet to get some traction.

There was a dude named Gary on here selling his dyna floor boards recently. Maybe that's your ticket.

I only have issues when i have my "touring" seat on. it seems to push my legs out further which makes it harder to get comfy on short pegs and i end up slipping. When i run my bare bones on my legs end up tucked closer in and the pegs are no issue. I've thought about getting/making some peg extensions

The biggest thing that has affected this for me is the choice of boots. I like the stock pegs, front and mid. No slip problems. But I've found that the boots make all the difference in how your feet work on the pegs and how comfortable you will be on a longer haul.

I did find those on ebay and saved the seller if these dont work.

I ride in vans or chucks so I think these should do the trick.
