Went over budget $100 since I opted to have the SE base map installed.
Spent the morning getting the PC V installed. Wound up using map 18.
I've only put about 100 miles on it but I am very happy with the results.
I should have just had this done when I bought the bike. I spent the last year thinking that the 255's would not be enough and that I needed a full $4K heads/BB job and that the SE Stg2 wouldn't be good enough. For those on the fence, ignore the SE Dyno charts; they appear to be only a 10lb gain over Stg1 and don't do it justice. This bike is loud, mean, and nasty now.
Very pleased.
Spent $2100 total
I'm on the fence.
I just finished talking to the dealer and I managed to score a very good deal on the 103 Stage 2 kit and install.
I can get it done for $2600, this normally goes for $3500 (remember I'm in Canada) so I'd be saving 900 bucks, my concern was if I'd be happy with the results for the cash spent.

was he able to tell you what kind of numbers, you were going to get...
I would say if you've got the money to spend plus you can save yourself $900 by doing it now....get it done. You will not be sorry. My bike screams. My buddies can't believe how quick it is. Picked up my Road King yesterday, I had them do a stage I before I picked it up. Man it's like riding a frickin' log compared to my Fat Bob. I'll have to fix that this winter I'm thinking.

Hey Rabbit..there are some pretty mad deals in Alberta as of recent. On parts, labor on mods, and bike prices. Picked up my RK in Red Deer and saved some serious dough.
Get some Dyno #'s up. You can see mine in my gallery. Needs a retune, running really rich. Had to run it rich, couldn't get a good tune on mine cause the clutch was slipping. Sounds like you have a good build going!

Nope, no hard and fast numbers just the usual "it should increase my TQ and HP by 10%" but I think I'm just going to say to hell with it and take advantage of the deal.
You will enjoy it off the line highway cruising the bike will perform and sound better. I have ridden mine longer with Stage 2 than with Stage 1 would never go back. I demo stock HD's touring models and "like a log" is an understatement.
