Did anyone else notice the new WG has the FB tommy gun pipes? Why did they do that? I think they should have come up with a pipe just for that bike. it also has the folding plate from the VR Muscle. which means anyone that likes that mount should be able to fit it to other dynas right?


anyone wanting to do what i did with my pipes should find a influx of take off pipes soon.

Harley realized how popular the Tommy Gun look was...so they slapped it and a few other standing stock parts together into a "new" model.

Easy switch from the Fat Bob to the Wide Glide onthe production line that way. Different front wheel bars and headlight....viola....Wide Glide.

Oops, rear fender too. I just looked, made the assumption it still had the bob tail fender.

Big mistake losing the bobtail fender - it was one of the "signature" pieces that made a WG a WG.

And dont forget they also found a place for all the leftover FXDSE gas tanks and consoles.

The more I look at it, the worse it gets.
Its a nice bike but I dont think it should be called a WG

I love the new Wide Glide. Change is good, and change can be bad. Love the blacked out look, and the wide glide front end with the ignition switch.

It is basically everything we wished the street bob would have been. Except that cheap exhaust will half to go.

Really tempting on this one.

Can't agree more. Where did all the chrome go? Even though I changed em' out, the mini apes need to be on a WG from the factory. I'm one who doesn't care for the tommy gun exhaust at all. But I wouldn't like any exhaust that comes from the factory...
