You can go as low as 11" with aftermarket shocks. Stock rear suspension is 12" for the Street Bob. The lowered 11" give it that slammed look but there's a trade off in ride quality. Expect much firmer (somewhat harsh) ride compared to stock.

I initially bought 11" shocks for my Street Bob but eventually settled on 11.5" Progressives. They still give you that slammed look but still have a somewhat comfortable ride.

i just put 11" progressives on mine .. i don't know about slammed look but they don't ride bad

if you really want to push it you can go with struts and easily fit 10's on it cause there's no give

I have 11's on mine(plus progressive drop-in lowering springs) and don't find them bad riding. You do tend to scrape things more though.

I have 11 progs on the back and 2in prog drop in the front. I noticed a firmer ride with the shocks set the softest. Riding 2-up feels great. I'm glad I did not buy the Prog HD shocks. the quoted 225lbs should be listed more like 275lbs. to go with the HD shocks.

10.5 with some super stiff shocks but then you might as well go with, 9.5 or 10.5 struts.
