After reading that some of you have had a clunk that turned out to be the jiffy stand bumper not being in the correct location, I thought that I would check mine. I have a 2009 Super Glide. I did not have the clunk, but mine had shifted from the correct location. I had my wife set on the bike while I turned the bumper to where it should be. I then placed a drop of white touch-up paint that made contact with the frame and rubber bumper. I now have a reference point where I can place bumper if and when it shifts again while bike is on jiffy stand.

The bumper on my bike shifts around a bit, so I just move it back into position. Haven't lost one, much less seven!

 

A little bit of black rtv holds them puppies in place.
