I have about 300 miles on my bike now and have noticed a few things. I am having a few problems that dont seem right to me. Every once in a while when i got to throttle the bike it coughs i guess you would call it. The other day it actuallly stahled on me. Wasnt sure if this was to be a concern or not it only does it perodically. btw its an 06
300 miles I would get it back to the Dealer ..Tell them your problems...
The sooner the better your warranty is good four 2 years take advantage of it .
Does it have the 8 degree injectors. Mine (FXDLI) did that till they changed them for the 25 degree. Mine has the clicking also. Dealer claims that it is normal twin cam. I don't believe it.
if you search the term "injector recall", you will find a post with a link to the injector bulletin.
some of the earlier 06's had a problem with the 8degree injector so they were upgraded to 25. the bulletin gives full details and symptoms.
the clicking is a bit strange though....
I have an'06 FXDCI and after riding the bike seems to have a surge. I let it go and had the bike serviced for the 1000 miles. The mechanic( if you can say that) rode it be for thwe service and never said anything about it. About a week later the bike would run different. Brought it to the strealer and they changed the injectorsfrom 8 degree to 25.
got a call back from the dealer it does have the old injectors so im gonna take it in to have them done ill keep ya all posted as to how it goes. THANKS for the info
