amsoil 20w/50 in the crank and primary, and 75/140 severe gear in the tranny in ohio and we run 3 bikes like this and mine has 35,500 miles on it and runs great with this set up 07 dyna.

next time you do a oil change take a qt of 75/90 and a qt of 20/50 and shake them, you will see that the 90 wt gear oil is thinner than the engine oil, not sure it will hurt anything running 90 wt, but I switched to 140 wt and got a better feel from my trans (my dealer doesn't even sell anything below 140wt)
