I have a Badlands lll and it doesnt get hot. I bought the ones with the plugs (they have one that you splice in as well) on it so took longer to take the seat off than it did to hook it up.
Biketronics also has one that doesnt get hot to give you a second choice.
I called Badlands directly...talked to a guy there he hooked me up with the equalizer i needed and the LEDs with free shipping and 10% off. Parts arrived 2 days later. Cant beat that.
LED bulbs don't draw as much current so they can not work properly without a equalizer.
They may blink fast or mess with the security system.
What if I only put leds on the rear...if I plug the load eq. into the wiring system, does it know where the leds are and will it have anything to do with the the front bulbs?
