Just courious is it easier to cut the wires under the tank when you add mini apes, I'am putting mini apes on my super glide.

slide tank back, pull out connectors from frame, dismantle, and add an extension kit (I used Namz 8 inch). put it back together.

Why would you want to cut or extend the wires for mini apes?
They fit the FXD without any wiring modification.
If you want to wire internally, then jack up the tank, pop the connectors, remove the wires and fish them through just the way they are.

My sig pic is with mini apes and stock wires.

yes, in my opinion its easier to cut, add whatever length you need and solder.

everyone's opinion will be different.....
