For those with the black shock springs, is that powder coat or black chrome? Does it chip off from compressing?

Mine are Progressive 412's. They come in black or chrome.

How long are the struts on the back of this bike? Any other mods required to run them, as far as clearence under the fender?

ha, and the brake rotor and a few others, especially the headlights

on my dads 07 road glide we took that cover that goes in front of the headlights and used a "tail light smoke spray" on it, looks killer, also used it for our brake lights. highly recommend the stuff... it's called VHT Niteshades. like $12 a can and they JUST started stocking it at the local advance auto
