Powerlab, how do your pipes sound compared to the v&h b-r 2 to1, in terms of tone and volume?
Also how bad is the heat coming off your pipes?

getting close. Trying to keep a little contrast and deciding piece by piece what I like. Just painted the derby cover and belt guard. Also moved the turn signals since this. This forum rocks. Also rubbed the chrome on the air cleaner and horn down to a satin brushed look. Never liked how the bob came with flat black, satin and chrome. Everything should be flat.
why yes it is! I had my real 1938 knucklehead stolen a few tears back, and cant afford another original so I thought i would build my own.
That's pretty cool. I searched and can see where you can get whole kits (tins, pipes, heads etc) but not where you can just get the heads/rocker boxes like you seem to have. Where did you get your kit if you don't mind me asking?

Almost done, got PM Wheels, rotors, pulley, and Fwd controls on the way. But right now looking for anyone who can point me in the right direction for a good strutless rear fender. Wanna chop rear struts, found a few companies in Europe (SBC & RBCW). Anyone got anything?
