I like the balance of chrome and black on a stock Super Glide Custom with black paint....I think it's the perfect balance. I like getting rid of all color on the bike, so I have smoked the lenses & added an LED tail light with clear lens. I've added some small items of chrome...sissy bar, lay down license plate bracket, chrome tip extended pegs, chrome axle nut covers, chrome jiffy stand extension. Little details make a big difference in appearance. Haven't removed the reflectors yet, but plan to.

I have some plans for winter. Going to remove the headlight visor, move the headlight to the lower fork brace. Move turn signals to forks (like yours).
And internal wire the handle bars (you can see my red wire ties on now)
Not totally set on the bars I just installed Wednesday... I put 'em on ebay for $75. If they sell great, if not it doesn't matter.
I also have that seat you have....it's my long distance seat

Yeah. Im going to move the idiot lights to the center console too. I was looking @ some old posts here & I saw one where the whole "oval of lights" fit in between the tach & speedometer.
Agree with the choice of doing the headlight. It would look SO much better down low.
