From the side the Bob has the fender so you see about and 1.5inches of the tire. After the shocks are added you dont see any of the tire. I noticed right away when looking at bobs on here that have the lower shocks. eye of the beholder I guess.
Ok I have the 05 SG sport. I am in the process of puting a bobtail finder on it or I should say my best friend is while I sit in the desert. I think with the stock shocks the finder is going to sit to high off the tire. you guys talk a lot about the 11" 412's. are they way to go right now? This is something I am going to wait until I get back to the states to do. I want to see the bike in person before I change them because they weren't in my plans before I came over here and I don't have a picture in my head of how they will look on my bike. any thoughts?
i got mine from Motorcycle warehouse accesories. It would also get rid of that dirt bike appearance that you have with the rear fender so high. here is what it will look something like
I see the difference on your bike. You can hardly see the top portion of your rear tire with the lowered pic. Looks really sharp!
I also bought my shocks at MAW, lowest price I could find at $197, including shipping, and it came within 2 days.
