Question running without speedometer?

does anyone know if you unhook your speedo and run without it, can you hook it up later and get an accurate odometer reading? because it is digital and runs of computer, does computer keep track of miles for you?

Let's see:
1) You have no turn signals
2) you have no horn
3) now you don't want a speedometer??

I'm sure the bike would look a lot better if you didn't have that ugly brake setup on your frong wheel!!

in response to your first question... No, that is why when you replace your speedometer you have to have it reset to account for the original milage.

I agree the mileage will not continue be accounted for. But you could always put an hour meter on it is you wanted some kind of record for usage.
