Get off your Dad's bike before he sees you! Just kidding, dude. The bike looks amazing and it's cool you're on your first Harley at such a young [looking] age. I always think of older guys like myself on Hogs so it's refreshing to see young blood on them. <--That last sentence sounds kind of Brokebackish, doesn't it. [:-]

Whiff
Lol, not that I am a Hells Angel wanna be or anything, but wasn't Sonny Barger 19 when he started the Hells Angels? Apparently there was a time when younger guys like myself either had an easier time buying harleys or just wanted them more.
I think they just wanted them more. Seems nowadays everybody just wants FAST! Congratulations on being one of few people your age with a cool and classic ride that is timeless. You picked the perfect time for a new Dyna too.

I fealt that way too, I doubt they will be changing much on the dynas for awhile, so you get that mines still up to date feel for awhile. As far as FAST, in terms of cruisers, I mean who wants crotch rocket pop a wheelie type of power on a cruiser. This Wide Glide has got tons of pick up and go. You can't have sport bike power and cruiser style. If you try to, you get something that doesn't fully compliment either end of the spectrum...just buy two bikes lol. For me after riding this wide glide and hearing people say why doesn't harley upgrade or add new features. Well with the power this wide glide has and the personality it has...I would rather them leave everything alone and give me the feeling of riding a machine with personaity than upgrade it and lose the sound, the vibes at the stop light, and that cool sound when you shift into gears. I now understand why alot of Harley owners don't want to see technology become the forefront of Harley Davidson's mission....and thats a good thing. Keep it putting a smile on your face for the same reasons it always had.

So you're only 19 and you have a Harley! Thats cool man!

Yep, its not that I am rich or anything. I just have a cheap car, and I work full time while I go to school. So, instead of getting a new car or something, I chose the bike, because thats what I am into. As, far as not being able to own one because they are expensive, **** sportsters are apparently 99 to 130 a month. If someone really wanted a Harley they can afford one, and I'm proof. Right now I make under 30 grand a year and I can afford it just fine...and I don't live at home with the parents either, I rent a duplex.
