I would like to put a set of Throw over saddlebags on my 97 streetbob without having to relocate my rear turn signals. Does anyone have any throwovers that you bought that will fit my bike and that you recommend and could you include some pics of them on your bike. I was looking at some Harley bags part#91010-91a but they say they wont fit my bike and I've heard that from them before when it will work.
Had same issue last year. Just measure the distance ya have between shock and signal. Then get the slanted style. I have the willie max ones. I also made a homemade triangle bracket to keep in place.
I'm guessing that most bags need the metal supports bolted onto the rear fender to stop any possible rubbing on the rear tire? Or did I just save myself a grand when the guys at the Harley shop said I "need these $700 bags and supports to bolt on, turn signal relocation and we want a few hours of labor to do it"

byrd, got a link? Jason, what year is your WG? Also, if the OP isn't interested in your saddle bags, I might be.
My W.G is a 2007. The bags are very well made and are "structured", to retain their shape. I have used them maybe two times. I just don't care for the way they look. They have velcro closures and the yolk lies under the seat on the rear fender, and it's not leather, so scratching or rubbing the fender is hardly noticeable, if at all. I like that the bags zip off, independent of the yolk too. I just can't get used to the way they look.
