Welcome home, always good to see great Americans return happy and healthy. I also got my bike thru the Mil Sales and have done nothing but ride since my return
A lot of riders (myself included) on this forum use LEMON PLEDGE on virtually every part of the bike except the seat. Works AMAZING. I wash my bike 1/2 as much as I used to before I found the "Magic Spray!" Takes bugs off great and when I take the bike out of the garage I can have it SPOTLESS in less than 10 minutes if its simply got some dust on it. Also works great for brake dust on the wheels.
Congrats and TY for your service! Now go enjoy and clear your head. Ride until you need sleep and then get up and do it again. WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back and thanks for your service to the country!
As for cleaning tips, it will depend on the type of paint you have on that Bob. If you got the denim, you don't want to use wax of any kind. Just plain old dish soap (car wash without wax if you want it, I use Meguire's) and Windex for the chrome/detailing. You can use Windex for quick "dry" washing as well.
If you have a standard glossy type of paint, same same as a car really. Wash and wax.
Welcome home, and thanks for your service...As for cleaning if I was away from my bike very long that would be the last thing on mind for a while...I would be riding the chit out of it!!!!!
