SE does stand for Screamin Eagle. II is newer version, don't know sound difference, since I've never heard the SE1 before.

I put a set of Rinehart slip-ons on my new Bob, a little pricey at $400 but they sound awsome.

I was talking with my service manager last night. He said the SE II's are made by Kerker which is owned by Supertrapp.
He said they will be marketing the SE II's under the name SE for $50 less. I did a search but could not find the exact slip on.

Hi

First of, congrats on your bike.

I've heard a lot of people say that they didn't like the sound they got when they cut out the baffles on the original muffler. If I were you I would look for some used SE II or the CyckleShack one's on Ebay. Don't know how your state laws are, but here in Norway the original mufflers comes in handy if you are stopped by the police and forced to visit the DMV.

I use Kess-Tech exhaust with an electronic soundmanegment. That way I can change from Honda sound to Harley sound by the push of a button. Comes in real handy with angry neighbours and eager police officers around. But they cost about $1850.

I got the SEII's before they stopped selling them but that was only 2 weeks ago. Paid $219 brand new. Start calling dealers but get your part number out of the SE catalog first.

'06 Low rider has Stage 1 kit, HD Download, and SE1 slipons. Would I have to re-map if I change to Cycle Shack slip-ons?
I would never pay the stealers for another junk re-map for 200 bucks. Just buy a PCIII or SERT, so you don't have to pay no matter how many times you change you exhaust.
That's what I did!!! I got the SERT
