thanks jake on the compliment on my bike, but doesnt come close to your. let me know when your ready to tour it out, i will hook you up. plus i have it all on detachables so when not touring or when i get to my vacation spot i just uninstall it and throw it in the tent or hotel. great way to save tens of thousands of dollars for almost next to nothing. jackyl

I thought about a Street Glide but decided it was simply too porky and I bought a FXDB. Been on FX bikes since 1980 and theyt just feel right to me.

Jackyl,

Your bike simply rocks. You have the best of both worlds and your bike just has that simple, bad *** Harley look to it, yet, you can have it dressed in minutes and it's ready to hit the road.

The only thing that really holds me back is the $$$ for the paint on a set of bags to match mine...lol

Excellent choice Jake. Love that LR, it's great pool of ideas.
I'm hoping to buy some paint for mine, maybe over the winter.

The only thing I honestly dislike about my bike, is that God awful side sticker on my tank. Gah, I hate it.

Other than that, I'd keep mine and maybe years from now, I would think of a RK to go along with it.

Would love to have a touring bike also. Wait a minute! I have made road trips on mine, so I must have a touring bike.

I will have this ole evo till I die.

Jake, I was on the fence about another bike for the longest time. I have wanted a Deluxe so bad I could taste it. I finally went down to the dealership to do it. I rode a couple of other bikes and after it was all said and done, a bigger frame couldn't even come close to riding a Dyna. I decided to pay my bike off first and then get something else to tour on, but I was so impressed with Joe's hard bag conversion, I may nix the idea of needing another bike to tour on.
