your lucky because i think i would of had to ride over there to insert my foot into your **** if you did sell it. that is one fine ride. glad you decided to keep her. or if you ever do sell her you should give the option for the son to own her first before a stranger, keep that sled in the family. you could have your son pay the difference in the trade in value of his sportster versus your LW and let him trade in the sporty. jackyl
+1
or hell bud... get a bit wild and do a conversion like i am doing... you can have the best of both worlds!
Jackyl, I love the way you have your bike set up for both cruising and touring. I also love the way Joe is going with his detachable hard bags. Who knows, maybe that's the direction I'll take it next..we'll see.
thanks jake on the compliment on my bike, but doesnt come close to your. let me know when your ready to tour it out, i will hook you up. plus i have it all on detachables so when not touring or when i get to my vacation spot i just uninstall it and throw it in the tent or hotel. great way to save tens of thousands of dollars for almost next to nothing. jackyl

Jackyl,
Your bike simply rocks. You have the best of both worlds and your bike just has that simple, bad *** Harley look to it, yet, you can have it dressed in minutes and it's ready to hit the road.
The only thing that really holds me back is the $$$ for the paint on a set of bags to match mine...lol
Jake, I was on the fence about another bike for the longest time. I have wanted a Deluxe so bad I could taste it. I finally went down to the dealership to do it. I rode a couple of other bikes and after it was all said and done, a bigger frame couldn't even come close to riding a Dyna. I decided to pay my bike off first and then get something else to tour on, but I was so impressed with Joe's hard bag conversion, I may nix the idea of needing another bike to tour on.
