I am getting ready to get a set of apes. I think that I am going to get 12" Khrome Werks. Can't decide on the narrow or regular style. Any thoughts or pics appreciated (I did search and saw some) - I know it is really a personal choice. Also, any specific advice (for example internal wiring or anything else) is appreciated. Thanks is advance.

If you have a narrow front end I would go with the narrow bars... I seen some narrow front end bikes with the wide bars and IMO they don't look good.
I would do the internal wiring if I was you, I love the clean look and if you know what your doing it wont cost that much.... just some time.
I have narrow ones on my bike. I agree, if the bikes a narrow glide you should get narrow bars. Although wides high bars are easier to control. Mine are 12 inch bars and there only shoulder height. If you want height depending on your size I would go with 14 or 16 inches. I ran the wires inside of the bars. I think it looks cleaner. Good luck on your hunt. Post pics when there done.
I think Burly makes so nice narrow apes for the narrow front end. Black or chrome and if I remember correctly 14" and 16" options. Not sure if they have a 12"
Thanks guys. My only concern with the narrow ones is that my speedometer is on the handlebars. The measurements look like the curve comes right at the end of the speedometer mount. Not sure if that will look tight, even if it fits the front end better.
Sign. pic is a standard glide (06 Street Bob) with "wide" 16" apes, but I have a 7" headlight and leather straps to increase the appearance of width to the front end.
Thanks for the pics. I think that that is what I might go with. How tall are you and do you find it more comfortable than the stock bars?
I'm 5' 6" and I do find them to be more comfortable for me and my hands are still below my shoulders. They are about 1 1/2" taller then the harley mini apes that come on the St Bob.
