Before making this post I did do some research on the forum and found out that there was some noise about the splines on the Kury 2nd gen forwards [shift side] NOT matching same on the stock HD shift levers.......looks like course [Kury] vs. fine [HD].
WTF WTF WTF ?????????????
I thought the HD forwards looked like crap next to the Kury ones but why in Gods name whould Kuryakyn not make certain that their product matched up with the HD stock shifter?
So...NO, I won't make it work........it looks like I will be buying a Kuryakyn Girder shift lever..............one would certainly think that Kuryakyn's own product would work on their forwards.
Am I missing something here folks or have I arrived at the only solution?
