For those who don't like the way it shows the bracket more, why don't you just delete the bracket. I have over 10,000 miles on my bike after I put on my cycle shack mufflers and no bracket and no issues. For those that say you have to have the bracket... well I don't have it on and I'm not gonna put it back on.

Greetings,
I have been running these on my 97 Wide Glide W/Stage 1 for some time.
They are more pleasing sound wise than the SE Slash Cuts and seem to deliver more low end torque.
The Slash Cuts are just too loud for me.

I just looked at their latest catalog online and they are on page 210, but the price for either style is $122.99.

So where on the sound scale do these fall? Obviously louder than stock, but quieter than SE's? How is the sound level compared to Rush or Cycle Shack's? Had some Rush's, but took them off because they were too brassy and the soundl literally reverb'd in my helmet, even with earplugs.

They're loud but don't sound like any other muffs I've tried or heard. It's a very vintage, "hot rod" sound. Not quite as "blat blat" as V&H, but not as deep as Rineharts.

I don't think you will get any reverb at cruise. At 50 mph on up cruising, you can just hear these off in the distance. Crack the throttle, and they start to bark.

First Harley, first mod & first post!

Been lurking for a while and thought I’d introduce myself with my first mod. Just got my bike about 2 months ago…2002 Low Rider with 157 miles on it (no, I did not leave out any digits!), everything stock. I was looking for some slip-ons when I came across this thread. Since I paid cash for the bike, I really didn’t have the funds to start buying a bunch of stuff, but when cbz1200n offered his for sale, I had to give them a try….the price was too good to pass up. Put ‘em on this weekend & went for a 200 mile ride with some friends to try them out. They sound WAAAAAAYYY better than the stock muffs, kinda like the difference between a cat’s purr and a lion’s roar. They’re not quite as ‘deep & rumbly’ as I had hoped, but I’m pretty happy with the sound. They’re pretty loud when you get on the throttle, but they didn’t bother me at all cruising down the highway….I kinda liked hearing the exhaust over the wind noise for a change! Not too sure that I really like the looks of ‘em, though, being so small, but the more I look at them and think about what they cost, the better they look!

I know, “this thread is worthless without pics”, but others have posted pics here & mine look just like theirs, ‘cept my bike is a different color! I did make a sig pic, though, with a pic taken before the mod…another ‘first’ come to think of it…my first (feeble) attempt at photoshopping!
