Proud Street Bob owner, 1 week now. I ordered Big Radius 2 weeks ago as I heard that V&H is backed up on these. Anyone know about this? Want these pipes, stock sounds terrible. My only complaint. I haven't heard the pipes yet but they look great and anyone who has them on this board say they love em. Any feedback on these pipes also appreciated. Best Regards.
They are awesome looking but a little loud but some folks say louder is better. Everytime the long arm of the law pulls up beside me at a light I hope he has other things on his mind. Although I would buy them again.
The entire VH line for '06 Dynas is back ordered. You might want to check Ebay, as I think there are some dealers selling them there and they have them in stock.
Alot depends who you call.
When I picked the bike I wanted, an 06 wide glide I also ordered a set of V&H Big shots. They were back ordered I imagine because of the 02 sensors.A week later still no pipes and just told "another week or so".
Called V&H and was told we dont sell retail and would have to go through a "Drag Specialties"dealer.
Kept calling and found 1 set at Woodstock HD,about 40 minutes from me.As far as I know,my dealer still hasent got them in yet....
Keep checking all around you, they can be found.
BTW I have heard the Big Radius are a little hard to tune.....
Found mine at my dealer when I bought my Wideglide... Luck would have it that they had one pair instock... They havent gotten anymore since because my friend wants some for his scoot. I love mine. The look is great, and the sound, man I love em... They are a bit loud as the other poster mentioned, but loud is good because you want the cagers to know your there.
I dont know if you can put the name of the dealer on these forums, but as Jamie stated there is a dealer on Ebay that has them in stock fo $465 plus $30 for shipping. Good luck
Dude,
Had to wait about a month for them up here in Canada, finally got them on my Bob last week and love them.Every time I start my Bike my wife wets herself
They sound great, pretty loud but if you back of the throttle they quiet down.
