Ok I've had my new Cobalt Blue Bob for 12 days. I wanted to finish my break-in and open her up. I took a nice long ride up to Greenwood lake today via backroads. Round trip was 136 miles.
About a 1/3 of the way up I hit 500 miles, time to have a little fun. I cranked on the throttle and man it felt and sounded good. Perfect riding weather 58 degrees and sunny.
Half way through I stopped for a rest and to take some pictures. The following pics were taken at Monksville resevoir.

Nice bike. I noticed that your fork-mounted tool bag looks real close to your fender. Have you thought what might happen to that pretty blue paint the first time you panic stop with factory fork oil and springs in your front end? You might regret it. Just a thought.
I've used thermal wraps on headers/pipes in cars before, idea being to keep the heat out of teh engine bay . What is the advantage they give you on a bike ? Is it just to sop you burning your legs ?
