I'm planning future upgrades which include rush slip ons, Stage 1 intake, and power commander V ... I've looked at installation instructions on the power commander unit, and wonder how tight it is to fit the thing on the bike. Bike came with the security system/alarm/paging module, and added the hd garage door opener at one point ... room is tight under the seat. Any issues getting the thing to fit? 2009 FXDF
I found that by snipping the plastic ties that hold the wiring blocks in place i was able to move / manipulate things around under the seat so that the Power Commander sits at the top facing me.
Saw a post about a year ago, someone had a link to a video on how to install the Vance & Hines Fulpak. Different product but principle is the same. Helped me a lot.
Go here and click on "videos"... man they have these buried on their site.. http://www.fuelpakfi.com/harley1.html
I would HIGHLY suggest you get some dialectric grease and grease the powercommander connectors real good. If water gets in, your bike will run like crap, or perhaps, not at all.
Happened to me after I washed the bike. Didn't think I was going to make it back home.

+100 I had that exact issue a few months back. Horrible idle. Horrible throttle response...all because about a teaspoon of water had gotten into the connection. Dried it...packed it dialectric grease and put it all back together. Not one issue since.
