Default Stock Derby Cover Clearcoated?
I've got the cover off for my 30,000 mile service and it is looking hazy. Is there a clear coat on it, or can I take it right to the buffer and polish it up?
Searched the forum and didn't find anyone that said it was clear coated.

Not on my Wide Glide.. It is 100% chrome. Yours you can polish it right up.... No clear coat on it.

no if you have a st bob it is polished alum, no clear

07 bobber if you want to do an exchange i still have a stock cover from mine i can wrinkle black and send out... i would need yours back then for exchange... you jsut pay for powder and ill ship it

Thanks. I figured it was polished.
I do like the Roland Sands finned cover from the Glory Stomper, but can't justify $150 for a cover.
