Guy's I just bought a new nostalgic speedo Tack combo off e-bay for 200.00 (list 459.00) but now was wondering where I can get millage restated stealer cant they say only factory can so any sugestions are welcome !

Send it back to the factory? Adjusting mileage on an odomoter is technically illegal.....
or...if the mileage on the new one is higher than your current mileage, just wait till you hit the higher mileage and do the swap that way there is no difference.

According to page 185 of the 2010 Harley Parts & Accessories catalog, under the listing for the COMBINATION SPEEDOMETER/TACHOMETER - NOSTALGIC FACE, "Mileage reinstatement is available through your Dealer."

That's true, but they won't do the change, they'll send it to the factory. They may not even do that since it was bought off ebay. When I purchased the Tach/Speedo combo, Zanotti handled the mileage reinstatement when they ordered it and the MoCo set it before they shipped it.

I also picked one up on Ebay for a steal....
Was told I could take it to the dealer to correct (change) the mileage, was told by them they do not (can not) do it, and the MoCo would not redo once done its done....
Mine was a new unit with 1500 miles on the clock preset from the MoCo, I had 1000 on the bike so I figured who cares bike is warranted for 2 years unlimited milage anyway....................

I say go for it who cares about the milage anyway, didn't buy my bike to worry about keeping track of the mileage............
